According to the "Ultraviolet LED Patent Technology Analysis Report-Epitaxy Chips and Packaged Devices" issued by the LED Industry Patent Alliance, from the perspective of the composition of the patent area, among the nearly 200 related patents in the field of UV LED epitaxy, chip and device packaging, China has the largest number of patents, accounting for about 56% of the total; followed by the United States, Taiwan and Japan, South Korea also has considerable advantages in this field. Moreover, among these patents, the world's patent applications accounted for about 10%, indicating that the applicants pay more attention to these patents, and a considerable proportion of the applications have a global patent layout.
